Local historian Alison Colwell will tell us How Theddlethorpe stuck two fingers up to Henry VIII.
Not to be missed!!
In 1536 Henry VIII said of the people of Lincolnshire: 'How presumptuous then are ye, the rude commons of one shire, and that one of the most brute and beastly in the whole realm and of least experience.'
